Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 September 2026
This policy describes what this website actually does. It is written to match the site as built, not as a generic template. If we change what the site collects, we change this page.
The short version
This website has no server, no database and no user accounts. It is a set of static files. We do not set analytics cookies, we do not track you across sites, and we do not build a profile of you. The only personal information we receive is what you deliberately type into the contact form or the booking scheduler.
What we collect
Contact form submissions. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, whatever you entered in the optional company or product URL and repository link fields, your selected enquiry type, and your message. We receive this because you sent it to us.
Nothing else, automatically. We do not run analytics on this site. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, and no tag manager. We do not set any cookie of our own.
Third parties this site uses
The site is static, so anything requiring a server is handled by an external provider. These are the only ones:
- Web3Forms processes contact form submissions and delivers them to us by email. Your submission passes through their systems. They apply automated spam filtering to it.
- Google Fonts files are served from our own domain rather than fetched from Google at page load, so opening this site does not contact Google.
- Our hosting provider serves the site's files and, like any web host, processes standard server request logs including IP addresses, for security and reliability purposes.
There is no embedded map, no scheduling widget and no third-party script of any other kind on this site.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data it receives.
Why we hold it
We use what you send us to reply to you and, if you become a client, to carry out the work. That is the only purpose. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a contact form.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to actual engagements are kept for as long as we have a working relationship, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting obligations require.
Client code and data
If you engage us, we may be granted access to your source code, systems and, in limited circumstances, systems containing your users' data.
- We ask for the narrowest access that allows us to do the work, and read-only access wherever it is sufficient.
- Credentials you share with us are stored in an encrypted password manager, never in email, chat or shared documents.
- We do not copy production databases onto our own machines.
- Only the engineer working on your engagement has access.
- We do not disclose what we find in your software to anyone.
- Access is revoked at the end of an engagement.
This is covered in more detail by the mutual non-disclosure agreement we sign before any access is granted.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@altrazen.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data protection rights, such as the UK or EU, those rights apply in addition to this.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
Changes
If we change what this site collects, we update this page and change the date at the top. We do not make changes quietly.
